On the 23rd of February 2017, the NOA of Ondo State Directorate held her annual end of the year meeting and one of the programme outlined was the train the trainee lecture on the interagency collaboration on security which was delivered by the Assistant Director PRS Pastor James Adekunle.

The lecture was to draw NOA officers towards the need to collaborate with other agencies and this is to ensure the speedy access of information for NOA officers. The speaker further stated that the need to collaborate with agencies is not limited with information ministries alone but to all agencies that can deliver basic information as part of the attentions and goals are based on; security matters; effective communication strategies; effective mobilization of the people towards accepting government policies and host of others.

The speaker gave the reasons of interagency collaboration and then stated that it drives toward mutual benefits and well defined interaction between two or more government agencies. With this the speaker therefore ended his speech for the day after justifying the reasons for interagency collaboration.


The rate of incessant burning of bush in and around Ondo State, led the national orientation agency to embark on a sensitization programme which their major goal was to educate and inform the populace on the effects of bush burning.

To this effect the NOA COMO Mr Arowofela and other participants took to the streets to educate the farmers and hunters of Akoko north-west local government on the adverse effects of bush burning. The sensitization programme was held at the Ajowa Town Hall Akoko was held on the 23rd of January 2017.


The programme which had some important dignitaries in attendance, offered some interesting and necessary package about the dangers of bush burning some of which include; it reduces soil moisture content, destruction of wild life, it destroys soil fertility among host of others.

The programme ended as a successful work day for the COMO and the National orientation agency as a whole.
