NOA organised One-Day Sensitizarion Programme on #BuildingAPeopleOfPeace with the theme: Fostering Peaceful Coexistence for National Development held at the palace of Emir of Nasarawa, Nasarawa State.
The event, #BuildingAPeopleOfPeace is in continuation of efforts by the NOA to bridge wide gap of differences among ethnic nationalities and religions resulting to unfornatunte/avoidable clashes in our society. Respective religious/community leaders were present.
Welcoming participants at the One-Day Sensitizarion Programme on #BuildingAPeopleOfPeace at the palace of Emir of Nasarawa, Director, Public Enlightenment & Mass Mobilisation (PEMM), Mrs. Ruth Ogun said NOA has embarked on this campaign to stem tide of communal/religious crises.
Rep. of DG NOA, Dr. Garba Abari, Nasarawa Acting State Director, Mrs. Priscilla Gondoaluor in her opening remarks thanked the Emir of Nasarawa, HRH, Hassan Ahmed for playing host and his leadership quality that has ensured peace in his domain.
The Emir of Nasarawa, HRH, Alh. Hassan Ahmed in his remarks at the One-Day Sensitizarion Programme on #BuildingAPeopleOfPeace held in his palace, commended NOA for the initiative saying the event could not have come at a better time.
Hon. Adamu Giwa representing Nasarawa LGA Chairman at the event tasked NOA to sustain the #BuildingAPeopleOfPeace campaign across length and breath of #Nigeria to promote peaceful coexistence among our people.
